The Timebuilders: Pyramid Rising is a casual time management strategy produced by French studio Microids. The player plays the role of an assistant to the Egyptian architect Senmut, who must rebuild the kingdom of the pharaohs and regain the gods' affection.

The Timebuilders: Pyramid Rising is a proposal of Microids development studio addressed to enthusiasts of casual time management games. Inspired by the history and beliefs of ancient Egypt.

The main theme of the game is the reconstruction of the kingdom of pharaohs, which was destroyed after the god Amon-Re decided to punish people. The task of reconstruction was entrusted to the main architect - Senmut. Together with his helper (this role is played by the player) he tries to erect magnificent buildings again and at the same time to win the kindness of Egyptian gods.

Playing is mainly about managing resources and coordinating activities over time. The player must obtain raw materials (gold and stone), direct workers to specific works (e.g. road cleaning, bridge repair, etc.) and erect and modernise buildings. A limited period of time has been set aside for the fulfilment of the assigned tasks.
