The Smurfs & Co is a browser game based on a popular animated TV series. You play as a Smurf or a Smurfette and build your own village. The title was developed by Ubisoft company and is fully integrated with Facebook social network. This allows each registered user to play for free and communicate with their friends.
Players’ main goal is to create a special potion that will make Gargamel – the old nemesis of Smurfs – forget where the village of Smurfs is. You are constantly aided by Papa Smurf, who also sets a variety of objectives for you to achieve. While playing you get to expand your village, take care of its inhabitants, and interact with your Facebook friends.
Each action consumes one energy point, which are renewed with time, so you should regularly review the needs and interests of your village. If you miss any specific items, you can ask your friends for a gift, and you can give them something too. The game puts much emphasis on social features. The core mechanics is similar to a popular browser game called FarmVille.
The game features neat graphics. Its cartoon-like, colorful world resembles the TV original and encourages for frequent visits in the game. Moreover, the developers included clear, easy-to-learn interface.
