The sixth expansion to the popular game The Sims. The base game is a humoristic life simulator in which the player takes care of virtual characters and organizes their time. The Sims: Superstar expansion enables the Sims to start a movie, model or pop star career. The mysteries of the show business are revealed to them by the assistant who sets specific objectives to achieve. A new district appears in The Sims: Superstar.

The Sims: Superstar is the next expansion to the extremely popular The Sims series, which in fact is a human life simulation. This time, the Sim can become a movie star, a super model or a famous singer. Every significant superstar must have an agent; the same is at The Sims: Superstar. The agent will introduce the Sims to the show business world. However, it depends on the Sims, if the character will be recognized and admired by the public or will become forgotten. What is more, the expansion introduces a number of new features related to the stars life – there are introduced completely new possibilities. An interesting example is the ability to visit the Sims at the place of work (it is specially created place called Studio Town) and see how the Sims manage being a superstar. The possibility has been introduced for the first time in the history of The Sims series game.
