The next big expansion pack for The Sims 4, a game released by EA company in September 2014. Just like the previously released Get to Work pack, Get Together does not change the gameplay itself, but introduces new activities, this time focusing on social features.
The Sims 4: Get Together is another expansion to The Sims 4, a PC game that premiered at the beginning of September 2014. The expansion pack doesn’t change the gameplay mechanics, but it adds new, social aspects and forms of activities to the game. The players, together with their Sims, are going to a new location called Windenburg which was inspired by European architecture. Plenty of attractions await them there, including giant hedge mazes, old ruins, and beautiful ponds. These attractions favor interactions among virtual people who, in addition to the aforementioned attractions, can visit coffee shops, pubs or disco – places in which they will definitely meet new Sims.
In addition to new locations, various activities were added as well. The developers enabled us to play table football, start bonfires or participate in hidden dance parties available only for selected few. It is also possible to organize your own party. All the player needs to do is go to selected location, make some space for the DJ and wait for guests who will definitely come.
What’s interesting, Windenburg is populated by various types of Sims, possessing differing in hobbies and character traits. Due to that, if the player doesn’t like any of the groups, he can create and personalize a group of his own. All of this is supplemented with a new wardrobe allowing the Sims to wear a new selection of clothes. The wardrobe can also be used for some more intimate activities.

GamingTrend: 70 / 100 by Bryan Ertmer
The Sims 4: Get Together utilizes the new club system to have new experiences, ways to play, and is a great social feature. Although it is a great expansion and allows for new and exciting gameplay, it fails to bring enough to the table for new players or people looking to get back to the Sims franchise.
We Got This Covered: 3.5 / 5 by Joseph Banham
The vast amount of options that are available with The Sims 4: Get Together's new club mechanic will add plenty more hours of fun for existing fans of the base game, but I don't think it's quite enough to entice dissatisfied players back to the series.
Critical Hit: 8 / 10 by Jan Prins
The second expansion pack for the Sims 4 certainly delivers the goods. There's lots to be done, a bunch of new goodies to interact with, new areas to explore, and interesting clubs just waiting to be created!
