Open for Business is another, a third expansion to the very popular games series called The Sims 2. After having fun in the university and in the nightclubs, it is time to start your own business.

The new expansion of The Sims 2 is made in the economic genre. In the expansion, the Sims can run their own business - literally. The player can establish a shop with a wide range of products and services (florists, beauty salons, clothing boutiques, hi-fis salons, restaurants, etc.) and decide on its development. The responsibility of the user is not only the choice of services, but also decisions on the visual appearance of the place, fixing prices of goods and the full control over employees. It means, that you can promote the best employees and dismiss the weak workers. What is more, you can also organize various trainings which in the future can be very profitable for your shop.

In the Open for Business the most important is a client, so the player must manage the actions of their employees carefully. When we develop the skills of the workers, we decide whether our charges will try to push customers the goods at previously established prices or whether the employee will be willing to bargain over the price to sell the product. Regardless of the tactics adopted, the player's task is to achieve the highest possible profits and win the title best of the best.

It is obvious that Open for Business is not simply created for making business. The player in the third expansion can do various things relating running business, for example: production of goods, such as arranging bouquets for florists, creating toys, or manufacturing robots (they are useful both in store and at home - in the first case they care about cleanliness and in the shop they protect against thieves).

The third expansion to The Sims 2 introduces 125 new items, including beauty salon chairs, a workshop table used for the manufacturing of toys or a thing which is extremely important in the shop – a cash register. In addition, there have been made plenty of costumes which can be worn by our staff - all of those is needed to run a one of its kind business.
