The Sims 2: Free Time is the seventh expansion to one of the best-selling computer games of recent years. Add-on is created by the Electronic Arts Redwood Shores team and allows consumers to give up the compulsory classes of the popular Sims and focus on developing their interests in various directions.
There is a wide range of areas where our charges can realize. There are both physical and intellectual activities. Some examples of activities that the Sims can take part in are: playing football, basketball, American football, burning calories while cycling, training in the ballet school or at a disco conducted by the professional DJ. The fans of other types of entertainment will also find other types of activities like running around the garden with a butterfly net, observing the stars, spacecraft using a telescope, looking at flying birds in the sky or insects living in a terrarium.
Proponents of more useful ways of spending leisure time can try sewing teddy bears using the sewing machine; renovate an old car or cooking to win in virtual competitions for the best food. The Sims who are art lovers can take part in clay modeling and learn to play the violin. It is obvious, that the more Sims practice, the more interesting results are achieved by them. What is more, the goods created by them can be sold (for example, pots or mascots) and in this way, they can make their household budget strengthen.
The authors have devoted a lot of attention to the youngest characters occurring in The Sims 2. The computer kids can also have a wonderful free time during playing electric train, drawing with crayons and creating a simple building with colored blocks. It is important to the Sims have a contact with their peers at each activities - so they are able to make new friendships and it is easier for them to meet life's aspiration. What is more, when the Sims realize their aspiration, they will receive various bonuses.
