The Simpsons: Arcade Game is a classic fight to the right, based on the canvas of a popular animated series. The aim of the game is to save the youngest member of the Simpson family, Maggie, who was kidnapped by Waylon Smithers after she accidentally swallowed a diamond stolen from a jeweller.

The Simpsons: Arcade Game is a traditional 2D beat 'em up game using The Simpsons license. The production, created by Konami, debuted in American arcades in 1990. Soon after this release, the game was released on PC and Commodore 64. For the next twenty years, however, the title lived mainly in the memories of fans and enthusiasts of arcade machines. Only thanks to Backbone Entertainment studio, which prepared the console port, the production was given a new chance to reach new and old players.
