The Settlers IV: The New World Description
Settlers IV: The New World is the third add-on for the fourth installment in the famous series of the Settlers. It tells the story of conquest of America. The Vikings discover the New Land. This message causes a real storm in the “old” world of the Settlers; everyone wants to take as much new lands for themselves as possible, so a race between Romans, Vikings and Trojans starts. Naturally, there are the Native Americans in the picture, as well – the Mayans. The players may play four new campaigns (one for each of the nations). Each of those offers five missions, so the total comes to 25 new missions. The expansion also introduces a bunch of maps for the multiplayer mode, as well as an enhanced map editor. What’s interesting, in Settlers IV: The New World some real myths make an appearance, such as the riddle of the Colossus from Rhodes. The add-on requires the full version of Settlers IV.
