The Race for the White House is an elaborate political strategy, simulating the campaign in the US presidential election. The player directs the actions of one of the candidates and tries to gain the support of the voters. The title was produced by the French studio Eversim specializing in this kind of games.

The Race for the White House is a proposal of Eversim's development team (Commander in Chief: Geo-Political Simulator 2009, Rulers of Nations: Geo-Political Simulator 2) addressed to players who would like to test themselves as politicians and fight for the highest office in the United States. The game is a combination of economic strategy and socio-political simulation.

The player has an opportunity to take part in one of several predefined candidates modelled on authentic American politicians (e.g. Jack Oham - Barack Obama, Mick Ronney - Mitt Romney, Hilda Tilton - Hilary Clinton, Lara Saylin - Sarah Palin) or to create their own hero. The aim of the game is to win the support of the voters (or more precisely the electors) and win the presidential election.
