The Playroom VR is one of the Sony games created for PS4 and PlayStation VR. The title was developed by SCE Japan Studio – a team that created great variety of games. The latter is the protoplast of currently described title and it uses augmented reality.
Mechanics
Similarly as the recently mentioned game, The Playroom VR for PS4 is a casual game that offers access to various minigames. The game is focused on a local multiplayer for a few players. One of the players puts the PlayStation VR goggles on his head and moves to a virtual world in which he assumes the role of, for example, a giant monster that chases the other players. The other players are using gamepads to control their small characters. The monster is very strong, he can destroy buildings, but he can be defeated if the remaining participants decide to cooperate with each other. In another minigame one of the players assumes the role of a cat while the rest are mice. There is also a ghost hunting minigame and many more.
Technical aspects
The Playroom VR for PS4, similarly as many other games for PlayStation VR, doesn’t impress with its graphics that use simple, cartoonish style. However, technical aspects aren’t very important in this title since it is a simple casual game.
