The Myth Seekers 2: The Sunken City is the second installment in a series of HOPA games originating from 2017. It was once again developed by Sunward Games and published by Artifex Mundi.

Plot

The Myth Seekers 2: The Sunken City, once again stars Amelia, an experienced agent working for the titular organization. One day, a mysterious artifact is found off the coast of Brittany. As the legend says, long ago, a conflict between Queen Tehda and her sister led to the city of Ys being swallowed by the ocean. When the city one day emerges again, Paris will be flooded in its stead.

With the artifact's discovery heralding Ys' return, Amelia must prevent the disaster. As it that wasn't enough, her agency ends up in great danger as well.

Mechanics

Gameplay-wise, The Myth Seekers 2: The Sunken City doesn't differ much from other HOPA games, and thus, the first installment. We'll spend most of our time solving puzzles, looking for characters, objects and items, well hidden in the game's many different areas. Completing the main story, consisting of 48 puzzles in 40 different areas, unlocks an additional bonus adventure.
