The Munchables is a quite original project by Namco Bandai. Our task is to fight space pirates through ... eating them.

The title Munchables is a race of peaceful, but permanently hungry creatures. When the cruel Don Onion and his cosmic pirates attack the defenseless mother planet of Munchables, the only hope to win and save their world is to eat the invaders. As consumption continues, our wards gain weight and size, so they can take on 8 bosses and Don Onion itself.

During the game we visit a number of colorful and bright locations, where we fight culinary battles with over 150 insidious opponents, such as Eggplanter, Space Shroom or Rice Ballero. To increase the chances of defeating enemies, we can also consume various power-ups such as fruit, vegetables or even hedgehogs.

The Munchables offers 2 gameplay modes - normal and Mirror Mode, in which all boards go in reverse order than in normal mode, and in addition, we have to perform all activities in a specified time. The game can be completed alone or by inviting another person to play.
