The Mastermind

Mafia Tycoon is a low-budget strategy game played in turn-based system. In production we play the role of a mafia boss and our goal is to build a thriving criminal empire. We deal in the world of organised crime - smuggling, gambling, illegal weapons, alcohol and drugs, while taking care of our legitimate interests and the reputation of a law-abiding citizen.

As the head of an organization, we start by controlling two bandits. Their suspicious activities increase our revenue and "bad" fame. As the game progresses, we can employ more gangsters, each of whom specializes in a different field. We buy companies, banks, hotels, restaurants, nightclubs and casinos for the cash we receive, thus increasing our sphere of influence. In order for our empire to function without hindrance, we must of course not forget to pay cops properly and frequently support various charities, which in turn will allow us to maintain the appearance of the rule of law. Our actions are constantly supervised by a dedicated assistant, who controls the movements of opponents and provides a number of useful tips.

Victory in the game can be achieved in several different ways. One of them is the monopolisation of the market through successful investments in profitable companies and institutions. Another method is to unleash a war of gangs and to systematically weaken our opponents by hired opponents. We can also focus on achieving the maximum level of wealth, increasing revenues and investing in a variety of luxury goods such as sports cars, lavish real estate or works of art. No matter how you choose to play, the game will provide you with an hour of long and exciting entertainment.

Despite the fact that Mafia Tycoon was published in Poland in English, the Polish publisher provided it with a detailed tutorial in its native language. Thanks to this, people who do not speak English will learn all the secrets of the game much faster.
