The Longest Road on Earth is an unusual atmospheric adventure game. The game has been developed by two independent studios: Brainwash Gang and TLR Games. The first of them is known from the intriguing simulator Damnview: Built from Nothing and the remastered edition of the action game Nongunz. The second was founded by the creator of the adventure The Rivers of Alice, and The Longest Road on Earth is the team's debut.

Plot and game mechanics

The developers of The Longest Road on Earth made a very unusual assumption. The game does not focus on the gameplay, nor on the plot. We find ourselves in a world inhabited by anthropomorphic animals and follow their fates. However, the game doesn't present a broader context. Rather than one continuous story, the game allows us to experience many small, ordinary moments from the characters' everyday lives, which we can use to create our own interpretations. There are no dialogues or demanding puzzles, and the control system is limited to moving the character and simple interactions with objects in the game. Thanks to this, The Longest Road on Earth offers a stress-free gameplay even for people without experience with computer games.

Technical aspects
