The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Description
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is the work of the independent Hothead Games studio, which worked on, among other things, the DeathSpank series. The developers, fascinated by the prose of the late British writer Douglas Adams, decided to create a game that would refer to the specific sense of humor contained in the five books of the trilogy "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". One of the sources of their inspiration was The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy developed by Infocom and released in 1984.
The advantage of the game is fidelity to the literary prototype. The authors tried to make references to the series wherever they could. Hence the non-existent Megadodo Publications, well known to fans of Adams' books, which became the official publisher of the new The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
