Plot

In The Great Perphaps, we play as an astronaut who returns to Earth, destroyed by numerous natural disasters. The protagonist quickly takes possession of a lamp-like artifact that enables him to see the past. From now on, his aim is to discover the truth about the events that led to the global disaster and to try to save the planet.

Mechanics

In The Great Perhaps, the action is shown from the side. In the course of the game, we explore gloomy, abandoned locations, and solve various puzzles based on time manipulation, complemented by various mini-games. In this way, we gradually discover new fragments of the story, getting to know the history of both the game world and the people who inhabited it many years ago. Our astronaut must be on his guard as he encounters terrifying, mutant creatures from time to time. As the protagonist is unable to fight, the player must look for ways to avoid them.

Technical aspects

The Great Perhaps features two-dimensional cartoonish visuals, enriched with elements reminiscent of communist propaganda posters. The unique atmosphere is created by both the modest color palette and the soundtrack that matches the events presented on the screen.
