The Godfather II Description
The Godfather II is the second installment in the action game series based on the cult novel by Mario Puzo, The Godfather, and the movie of the same title directed by Francis Ford Coppola. It was developed by EA Redwoow Shores and holds a license from Paramount Pictures, allowing the game to use virtual versions of such actors as Marlon Brando, Al Pacino or Robert Duvall.
The story once again takes us to New York, which has become a battlefield of warring Mafia families. Additionally, we can visit Havana and take over Miami. The player, working for one of the families, has to perform missions assigned to him by the organization and prove that he will stop at nothing to make sure the job is done.
Gameplay in the Godfather II resembles the Grand Theft Auto series as far as the style and the degree of player's freedom are concerned, although the developers enriched their product with strategy elements that allow us to manage districts controlled by the local Mafia. In the Don’s View mode, the outlook switches from third-person perspective to aerial (with zoom). In comparison to the first Godfather, the developers polished the audiovisual layer of the game, offering an enhanced graphics engine and a new film-inspired soundtrack.
