Plot
The Gecko Gods has us playing as a gecko traversing a mysterious island, filled with ruins left by a fallen civilization. Trying to save a friend, the protagonist traverses the land and solves puzzles, making good use of his agility.
Mechanics
The Gecko Gods is a third-person game. The player must traverse various beautiful areas, such as ancient ruins. We must explore them by making good use of our gecko's abilities, jumping on platforms, swing on ropes, move objects and climb walls, ascending tall structures. These abilities come in handy while traversing different areas and solving puzzles, which involve, among other things, manipulating ancient devices. On the way, we can gather various collectibles.
Technical aspects
The Gecko Gods makes use of an atmospheric, cartoonish artstyle. The soundtrack is catchy and rather fitting.
