The First Crown is an adventure game designed by Jonathan Boakes and the Darkling Room team. The story tells the story of the investigation of contemporary ghost hunters who use a number of modern gadgets in their work.
The First Crown Description
The First Crown is the third part of the adventure trilogy in horror climates, whose previous scenes were The Lost Crown: A Ghosthunting Adventure and The Last Crown: Haunting of Hallowed Isle. The story and riddles were traditionally developed by Darkling Room under the leadership of Jonathan Boakes.
The plot revolves around Nigel Danvers and Lucy Reubans, a pair of researchers of supernatural phenomena known from the previous parts. At the same time, knowledge of earlier versions of the series is not required to enjoy a new story. A pair of heroes begins a new investigation, which traditionally concerns spirits.
The game is a 100% preparation with a point-n-click interface. During the game we have to visit the locations, talk to NPCs and solve riddles. As usual, the gameplay is made more attractive by the profession of the main characters. It allows us to use specialist gadgets of ghost hunters, such as the EVP sound recorder, used to record the voices of the deceased or the EMF field detector.
