Created with the Korean market in mind, an extensive action/cRPG, which after a huge success in its home country (more than 100,000 copies sold within a few weeks of its premiere) was also released in Europe. The action of the game is shown in isometric projection, well known for such hits as Divine Divinity or Diablo. The plot of the game is not too complicated and is rather a background for the action shown on the screen. The main character of The Fate is a young warrior, Loni, who heads towards LaTranada Island in search of his brother Ranon. Recently they saw each other while trying to get a priceless Euclid blade. During the game, other characters join Loni, including the knight Blunt and sorceress Reyna. Each of these heroes has its own individual features, so it also requires a different approach to play from the player.

The course of the game is similar to the one that many players know very well from Blizzard's hit. The important difference is that, as in Throne Of Darkness or Dungeon Siege, a whole group of heroes can be controlled, but the player can take control of up to three characters at the same time. Thanks to advanced Artificial Intelligence modules, he doesn't have to worry about other team members at the same time and can focus on exterminating more enemies. The development of controlled characters does not cause any problems. The player can choose from several character types and character classes, as well as plenty of additional skills and spells.

An important advantage of the game are well-developed modes for multiplayer games. You can start a completely new adventure created exclusively for the fans of online skirmishes, fight a short duel to death and life (Deathmatch) or join forces to play a singleleplayer campaign.

The Fate's graphics provide a neat 2D to 3D connection. It is worth mentioning the interesting effects of spells, realistic weather and real time calculated light play.
