A special edition of The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, developed for PlayStation Portable by Climax. In comparison to the full-fledged version released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, in which one could freely explore a large open fantasy world, due to the technical limitations of PSP The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion is a three-dimensional dungeon crawler.

The fourth installment of The Elder Scrolls series was so popular that Bethesda Softworks decided to release the game on the PlayStation Portable handheld console. The task of creating portable version was given to Climax studio. This edition is very different from the one released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The first noticeable difference is in the title of the game – it is called The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion.

The most important difference in comparison to other versions of Oblivion is the fact that the game takes place in a different setting and the gameplay mechanics are based on dungeon crawler games. The developers resigned on using open spaces and giant locations because PSP would probably be too weak to generate advanced graphics. Instead of that, they focused on closed rooms and uncountable numbers of dungeons, catacombs and sewers.
