The Crow’s Eye for PC is a first-person horror adventure game developed by a small Spanish studio, 3D2 Entertainment. It was inspired by folk tales and hit games like Bioshock and Amnesia: The Dark Descent. The game offers an engaging story and the unique atmosphere created by things seemingly not important, like a ray of light going through a hole in the wall.
The Plot
Medical University in Crowswood was closed in 1947 after a group od students disappeared without a trace there. Twenty years later, a young man is trapped inside that building as a part of an experiment which he did not agree to participate in. To escape, he will have to discover its secrets and find out the connection between the building and the event from twenty years ago. All of that happens under a watchful eye of a mysterious observer.
Mechanics
Gameplay in The Crow’s Eye for PC is presented from the first-person perspective and focuses mainly on exploration and solving riddles and puzzles. To solve them, we have to use our intellect and items found along the way, just like in the point-and-click adventure games. We will also find documents and audio and video recordings here and there in the building. Their contents will eventually lead us to the discovery of the reasons behind the 1947 dissapearance. Before that, however, we will have to finish nine levels the developers have created.
Technical Aspects
Visuals in The Crow’s Eye for PC are on a decent level. Rooms of the university’s building are diversified. Developers paid much attention to the play of lights and, from time to time, players may be entertained by interesting visual effects, like the distortion of the screen. Naturally, The Crow’s Eye also has an atmospheric soundrack that creates a mood fitting for the game.

GameZone: 6 / 10 by Daniel R. Miller
An atmospheric first person adventure puzzler that doesn’t commit to being scary. It has a few technical issues and some awkward transitions, but overall it’s a decent package for the bargain bin price.
GameSpace: 7 / 10 by Jon Irwin
No, The Crow’s Eye didn’t turn out how I expected, and in that way I’m disappointed. As a huge fan of horror games, I was let down by The Crow’s Eye failing to live up to the horror that the teasers seemed to promise. But, I can appreciate a good puzzle game and that’s exactly what this is, and having a decent narrative is icing on the cake.
The Digital Fix: 7 / 10 by Katie Fanthorpe
With plenty of fun puzzles and environments to explore, The Crow's Eye manages to make worn out graphics and a cliched horror story worth playing.
