The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout is a training program based on the license of a popular TV show. The production was created in the Blitz Games development studio and uses the technical capabilities of the Kinect controller. Players can lose weight and improve their condition by doing various physical exercises under the watchful eye of virtual coaches.
The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout Description
The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout is the next product of Blitz Games studio, after The Biggest Loser and The Biggest Loser: Challenge, aimed at people who would like to get rid of extra pounds, improve their physical condition, as well as gain knowledge about rational nutrition and healthy lifestyle. The game is based on the popular reality show license, which is known in Poland under the title What do you have to lose?
Just like in a TV show, The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout's main task is to perform a variety of exercises of varying degrees of intensity. Exercisers can define their own goals (body weight, physical fitness), and the program selects training regimes accordingly.
Exercise sessions are scheduled at regular intervals (e.g. four times a week) and can last from 20 to 60 minutes. Thanks to the camera built into the Kinect controller, players can observe the work of their bodies. Virtual trainers also monitor the correctness of individual exercises on an ongoing basis.
The creators of The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout made sure that the workouts were not monotonous and the game motivated to work on themselves. A form of enrichment are e.g. efficiency tests on the obstacle course. Players can also benefit from a set of practical tips on how to eat properly and prepare food and a healthy lifestyle.
The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout does not differ in performance from competing titles (e.g. Your Shape series). You can practice in several different locations (e.g. in a gym or on the edge of the pool), with the participation of a trainer and other practitioners. An additional attraction is the possibility of using some training devices, such as a gymnastic ball.
