The Amazing American Circus is the game in which we are involved in running a circus troupe in the second half of the 19th century in the USA. The game combines elements of card game, economic strategy and RPG. Polish companies Klabater and Juggler Games are responsible for its development.

The Amazing American Circus is a game that combines elements of economic strategy, RPG and card game, in which we build and develop our own circus. The game was developed by Polish companies Klabater and Juggler Games. The first company - known for its successful Crossroads Inn - also acts as a publisher.

Plot

The Amazing American Circus takes place in the United States in the Gilded Age , i.e. the period from the end of the Civil War (1865) almost to the end of the 19th century (1898, the beginning of the American-Spanish War is considered to be the end of this era). The player takes on the role of a circus boss who tries to compete with the living giant of the industry at the time - P.T. Barnum. The plot of the game is inspired by American folklore. While playing, we may meet historical figures such as John D. Rockefeller, Susan B. Anthony and Nikola Tesla.

Mechanics

In The Amazing American Circus our task is to build the best possible circus troupe that will be able to amaze and enchant the audience. In addition to recruiting staff for our team, we also collect cards representing tricks and stunts that can be presented on stage by artists. We also deal with finances and talk to different characters.

The performances take the form of a quasi battle with the audience, during which the user plays his cards in an attempt to make the best possible impression.

In addition, as the game progresses, we develop our artists, increasing their abilities during their performances.

Game modes

In The Amazing American Circus we can only play alone. The core of the game is a feature campaign.

Technical aspects

The Amazing American Circus has quite a nice, two-dimensional graphic design, which is based on the drawn illustrations. The soundtrack, inspired by classical circus music, also makes the game more enjoyable.
