An indie horror adventure game by Alessandro Guzzo. The protagonist of The Alien Cube is Artur, tormented by nightmares, who inherited an apartment from his deceased uncle. The old and forgotten apartment turns out to hide many disturbing secrets.

The Alien Cube is an independent adventure game with a first-person perspective (FPP), set in Lovecraft's horror style. The game was developed by Alessandro Guzzo and is a spiritual sequel to the first game in the Guzzo Productions series - The Land of Pain.

Plot

The game begins with a mysterious sequence in which the main character (Arthur) first wanders through an ghostly cave and then witnesses a sudden meteorite collision with the ground. When he finally gets his hands on an unknown object emanating green light, the man starts screaming and then wakes up from a dream in his own room.

While crawling around the apartment and trying to comprehend the meaning of the mysterious dream, Arthur suddenly hears the doorbell ring. A letter lies on the rug outside the front door. It turns out that it is a message from his uncle Edgar. The main character learns from it that his uncle has died, and that the letter he wrote down earlier was to be delivered to him after his death. The content shows that the man also bequeathed him his apartment. However, the man also told Arthur to get rid of any items (especially manuscripts) that seemed strange or incomprehensible to him. Intrigued by the contents of the letter, the protagonist decides to go to the apartment as soon as possible.
