The Adventures of TinTin: Secret of the Unicorn Description
The Adventures of TinTin: The Secret of the Unicorn is an action adventure game developed by Ubisoft's internal studio. The game is based on a movie of the same title. The game follows Tintin – a character created by Belgian artist Georges Rémi, who in 1929 published comics about adventures of the blond reporter for a French newspaper Le XXe Siecle. The story is based on the big-screen adaptation of the series and tells about finding a sunken ship and an adventurous expedition in search of a lost treasure.
The game features many characters from the popular comics - on your way you meet Captain Haddock, Thompson and Thomson, or the dog Snowy. Apart from single-player levels Adventures of Tintin feature a number of missions that can be played in co-op. Moreover, there is also a challenge mode that includes several short action sequences, such as piloting an airplane or sword dueling, which are unlocked along the progress in the game.
The Adventures of Tintin were created in a classic style reminiscent of famous platformers – you move through 2D environments, including dark alleys of big cities and deserts. However, there are also short, 3D levels, which serve a role of interludes between missions. The game has very nice, cartoon-like artwork, which draws inspiration from the style of the cinematic original.
The game was created with the help of the film's director Steven Spielberg and it producers: Peter Jackson and Kathleen Kennedy.
