The second edition of the Test Drive spin-off series addressed to fans of cross-country skiing. We sit behind the wheel of one of the licensed cars headed by Hummer and try to surpass our rivals on several routes covered with mud, snow or sand.

Test Drive: Off-Road 2 is the successor to the 1997 arcade racing game focusing on off-road rivalry. Contrary to the original, the creators significantly expanded the number of available machines. The Accolade studio produces more than twenty cars divided into several categories: Hummers, military, safari, SUVs and trucks.

Contrary to the subject matter discussed, all of the routes prepared for the game are characterised by a relatively small openness. As a rule, an attempt to go beyond the path outlined by the artists is connected with a collision with an invisible barrier. Therefore, the fact that we are dealing with off-road competitions is evidenced primarily by the surface on which the drivers struggle. As in the previous version, mud, snow and sand dominate. While having fun in a single race or championship we will ride on the beach and steep mountain passes, among others.
