A jRPG game in which the players take on the role of heroes created for the Terra Battle cycle and travel through a fantastic world full of dangers, secrets, and tasks to be completed. The essence of the game is the exploration of the land, fight against enemies, and the development of the team we lead to battle.
Terra Wars is a jRPG game created by Mistwalker (founded by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the father of the Final Fantasy series) and Arzest studio (creators of Yoshi's New Island and Hey! Pikmin). The game is distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.
Plot
In Terra Wars, players take control of the heroes created for the Terra Battle series, and travel through a fantastic world full of secrets, dangers and tasks waiting to be completed.
Mechanics
Terra Wars gameplay is based on exploration, missions assigned by neutral characters and fighting encountered enemies. As is the case with most games of this type, the fights take place in turn-based mode, and in many cases the success is ensured by the right strategy, based on the individual skills of the heroes and the weaknesses of the opponents.
In the course of our adventure, our team gains experience and progresses to the next levels, thus increasing its combat potential. It is also important to collect more and more powerful equipment, which consists of a diverse arsenal of weapons and various pieces of armor.
Technical aspects
In comparison with Terra's earlier installments, Terra Wars stands out thanks to its unique graphics design set in motion by means of plasticine animation. The whole experience is complemented by an atmospheric soundtrack.
