Story

It had been thirty years since we first discovered the alien technology. Centered on the Jovian moon Callisto, it fell like mana from heaven. Eagerly, we sought out the alien plans and copied them, revolutionizing intra-solar travel. A new age of prosperity dawnedor so it seemed. Who could have realized what would happen, afterwards?

Outer colonies formed, commercial stations were built and the solar economy thrived. The United Earth League [UEL] struggled to control its colonies, but ties to Earth became less important. Pirates hidden in the Asteroid Belt attacked more and more and friction between the UEL and the now powerful Mars Consortium hit an all-time high.

A trigger, a spark, was all that was required to plunge us into bitter war...

An excerpt from her unpublished memoirs

Terminus is, at its heart, a space combat simulation. Many of these space sim elements are similar to other games, such as the Freespace series. You can pilot a variety of single seat spacecraft, ranging from fighters to gunboats to transports. With these ships at your disposal, you can carry out a wide range of missions or contracts. However, Terminus differs from the previously mentioned games by offering the following innovative features:

* Immense Game Environment

* Realistic Physics

* Comprehensive Ship Simulation

Terminus is not a role-playing game in the traditional sense; there are no dragons to slay or kingdoms to save. However, Terminus has taken many elements commonly found in the traditional role-playing game and fused it with space combat. These elements include the following:

* Intricate Storyline

* Various Career Paths

* Non-Player Character Interaction

* Persistent Universe
