Tennis World Tour 2 Description
Tennis World Tour 2 is another instalment of a tennis simulator developed by Big Ant studio. The developers, who picked up the baton after the Breakpoint Studio development team responsible for the previous parts, gained experience in creating sports games during the production of the AO Tennis series.
Mechanics
The new studio has developed many of the components of Tennis World Tour 2 from scratch, and in creating them, the feedback from the players has been taken into account. Once again, the focus is put on realism, but offering a more dynamic gameplay. The mechanics of the serve have been improved, and more precision and a sense of touch are required when hitting the ball. Thus, as the pace of the matches increases, the game has become more demanding.
In the game you can take part in the career mode, in which we try to become a big star like Pete Sampras or Andre Agassi. During the game we decide on the equipment we use or sign contracts with sponsors.
In Tennis World Tour 2, we can play as 38 world tennis stars, including such names as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Ashleigh Barty.
Game modes
Tennis World Tour 2 offers gameplay for both single and multiplayer (via network or on a shared screen). For the first time in the series, the possibility of playing doubles with friends - both online and in local mode - was introduced, as well as the new Tie Break Tens format, in which only the final matches are played (the winner is the player who first scores 10 points and will lead at least two).
You can also try your hand at quick and ranking matches.
Technical aspects
The graphics in Tennis World Tour 2 has been improved compared to the previous part. First of all, new animations were added and existing ones refined. The atmosphere during the match was faithfully reproduced, the existing courts such as Manuel Santana in Madrid and the OWL Arena in Halle, Germany, and the behaviour of players.
