A science fiction RTS inspired by the Command & Conquer series; we find ourselves in the middle of a conflict between three factions, with control of Earth at stake. Tempest Rising offers two story campaigns and an extensive multiplayer mode.

Tempest Rising is an RTS inspired by the greats of the genre, led by the Command & Conquer series. The game was developed by Slipgate Ironworks studio (whose portfolio includes the Rad Rodgers game), while its release was handled by THQ Nordic and 3D Realms.

Plot

Tempest Rising unfolds a grim vision of the future. After the nuclear conflict that turned the entire world as we know it upside down, the war for influence has not ended at all. The globe is now overgrown with the mysterious vines of the Tempest, with warring factions vying for control. Plunged into the conflict, the Global Defense Forces and the Tempest Dynasty do not yet know that the Earth is in great danger from the true origin of the Tempest.
