Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled
Walking battle with Ninja Warrior Turtles in the lead role. Improved remake, complemented by, among others, network multiplayer and full 3D graphics.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled is a remake of the second part of a cult beat ‘em up game series featuring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In contrast to the previous installment released in 2007 on Xbox Live Arcade, this is a completely remodeled game, adjusted to the most powerful game consoles available in 2009.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled again lets you control one of four heroes (Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo), who fight the villainous Shredder and his sidekicks. This time, however, the main villain is Krang, who decided to steal the Statue of Liberty. The heroes set off to reclaim it, but they fall into a time trap set by Shredder. Therefore, they have to fight the bad guy both in the past and in the future.
The player assumes the role of one of the four Ninja Turtles. Of course, each of them has unique abilities and weapons. Donatello is slow, but his spear reaches farther than others. Raphael (sai blades) and Michelangelo (nunchuck) are fast but not very strong. In turn, katana-wielding Leonardo is the most balanced character. He is especially recommended to the players new to the series.
The developers redesigned all 9 game levels from the original. At the end of each level there awaits a mighty boss. Fully 3D graphics sports neat visual effects. Fans will surely appreciate using the original soundtrack in the remake. The game was also expanded by online multiplayer (4-player co-op), as well as ranks and leaderboards.
