Tax Heaven 3000 PC

Tax Heaven 3000 is a rather unique visual novel, designed to help American players prepare their 2022 federal tax return. It was developed by the art collective MSCHF Product Studio, also responsible for another, just as unusual (or maybe even more) project - Chair Simulator, an aptly named chair sitting simulator.

Plot

The protagonist of Tax Heaven 3000, while searching for love, ends up meeting a woman named Iris. They decide on a rather unusual way of forging a relationship; together they fill out their federal tax returns for 2022, looking for true love hidden in the tax papers.

Mechanics

The gameplay of Tax Heaven 3000 doesn't differ much from other visual novel dating sims. The player mostly talks to Iris, meeting up with her in various locations; by answering her questions we give her information regarding our finances. Progressing through the game lets us get to know her closer and gradually fills up our tax return.

The player should keep in mind the game doesn't take all tax situations and tax breaks into account. Its purpose is to prepare a single taxpayer, responsible for no one else's livinghood, to properly fill out their tax return.

Technical aspects

The visuals of Tax Heaven 3000 make use of a manga-like artstyle typical to the genre.
