Taur is a science fiction real time strategy. The aim of the game is to help the Tauron robot race to defend their planet against an Empire invasion. During the adventure, the player controls a stationary machine, expands it and fends off waves of enemies.

Taur is a science fiction real-time strategy (RTS), the debut game of Echo Entertainment's studio.

Plot

The story presented in the game takes place in Taurea, which is home to the Tauron robot race. At some point, this place is attacked by an enemy empire. The player takes control of the indigenous inhabitants of the planet and attempts to repel the invader.

Every battle won increases the player's control over the planet. The total conquest of Taurea by the Empire means a loss and an end to the campaign.

Mechanics

In Taur, the player controls a stationary robot, which has to defend itself against waves of different types of enemies. Initially, the machine is small and has limited defensive capabilities. Around it, however, there is an area made up of smaller, hexagonal fields, on which further construction elements can be placed.

The whole planet has been divided into war zones to be taken over. For each success, resources are allocated and then used to unlock new construction elements and their improvements.
