Tank Battalion: Western Front is an arcade simulator, in which we drive the tank. The product is the responsibility of the little-known studio IncaGold, and the distribution in Poland is handled by IQ Publishing.
The action of the game takes us in the years 1944 - 1945, where we command a tank during the biggest battles of World War II on the western front, including the landing in Normandy and the counter-attack in Ardennes. We sit at the helm of both German and Allied machines. In total, the game gives the opportunity to go through two campaigns, and each of them consists of six scenarios.
Western Front throws the player on the battlefield and allows you to watch the game from a third person's perspective. The camera is located at the back of the tank. With the viewfinder in the middle of the screen, we control the tank, move the barrel and shoot at everything that poses a threat. The interface is very simple. In the upper right corner of the screen there is a mini-radar, which indicates nearby allies and enemies. In addition, the monitor constantly displays the number of endurance points and ammunition of our tank.
Western Front offers a simple, three-dimensional environment. We play missions in different environments, including the wilderness, towns and forests, both during the day and during the night. In addition, the views will beautify the sometimes falling snow. Tank models have been designed to faithfully reflect their real counterparts.
