Tales of the World: Reve Unitia 3DS

Tales of the World: Reve Unitia is a strategy RPG game with a turn-based combat system that belongs to the side series of the jRPG Tales of. As usual, the Japanese company Bandai Namco is responsible for creating the production. Reve Unitia is the first edition of Tales of The World, which was released on the Nintendo 3DS console, as the previous ones hit only on PSP and Game Boy Color. Traditionally, the plot of the title focuses on the characters who appeared in subsequent parts of the Tales of. Tales of the World is created primarily for the fans of the brand, and the main magnet and attraction of the titles from this signboard are the interactions between characters from different games and worlds.

Reve Unitia takes place in a world known as Revalia, whose existence depends on the dreams of its inhabitants. At the very beginning of the game, the heroes of Tales of games, who forget about their previous adventures and friends, find themselves in this mysterious place in an unexplained way. Knowing only their real name, they try to find themselves in surprising circumstances. The narration of the game is divided into two parts, which represent the fate of two groups of characters standing on opposite sides of the conflict separating Revalia. The story is presented in a form known from visual novel games. The title does not lack various interludes and humorous dialogues.

The gameplay resembles many classic Japanese tactical RPGs. The three-dimensional battlefield is presented in isometric view and divided by a grid into square fields where our characters and enemies move. Players can use a variety of special skills and attacks, as well as select their character's equipment. In addition to battles, we travel between locations using a map of the world, which also includes optional locations and missions, thanks to which we can recruit more team members.
