Tales of Tempest is the first game from the famous Tales of... prepared by Namco for the Nintendo DS portable console. It belongs to the Japanese variety of the RPG species.
In this game we play the role of a 15-year-old boy named Caius Qualls, who lives with his guardian in a village on the border of Alewallah. One day the city is attacked by a mysterious beast named Spot. During a fight in which both of the above mentioned heroes take part, it turns out that Caius' guardian comes from the same race as the assailant. The church forces coming to the place of the event kill the creature, at the same time trying to comprehend the uncomfortable inhabitant of the village. He in turn decides to escape, in which Caius and his friend from the courtyard - Rubian also takes part. In order to protect the boys, the guardian decides to separate them from the group. Caius begins a long and adventurous journey to unravel the mystery of his true parents.
Generally speaking, gameplay is about talking to the characters you meet and performing the tasks they entrust to us. While dealing with missions we visit a number of cities, which we reach thanks to a three-dimensional map. In addition, as in any jRPG game, battles against ordinary and extraordinary opponents, as well as extensive character development play an important role. There is also a touch screen, which is used during clashes (spells, etc.), as well as in the menu (backpack content management, etc.). The authors took care of a fully three-dimensional environment and high quality graphic effects. Mutsumi Inomata, known from previous editions of the Tales of... (Rebirth, Eternia and Destiny).
