Mechanics

In SYNTHETIK the players observe the action from the top-down perspective. Before starting the game, players choose one of the eight available character classes, which differ in terms of the preferred weapons and gear. During the game one gets to travel across procedurally generated maps and face various opponents. They can be eliminated with the use over eighty types of weapons (individual types of weapons come in many variations and are also subject to different modifications that increase their combat potential) and more than a hundred items that expand the range the protagonist's both offensive and defensive capabilities.

What is worth noting, the weapons may overheat or block when being fired. Moreover, as befits a game representing this genre, SYNTHETIK features the permadeath mechanics as well as it allows players to shoot their enemies in the head or actively reload their weapons (the player is rewarded for the perfect reload).

Game modes

SYNTHETIK features a single player and an online 2-player cooperative modes. In addition, there are several difficulty levels to choose from (the higher one you choose, the more valuable prizes will be available for you to acquire).

Technical aspects

SYNTHETIK features simple but colourful visuals in a cartoon-like style.
