Synced

Synced is a multiplayer shooter developed by NEXT Studios, also known for Iris.Fall, Bladed Fury and Death Coming.

Plot

Synced is set in a post-apocalyptic world, in a place called Meridian. The area is locked off and isolated, but also the source of Nerva, a valuable substance. We play as a Runner, raiding Meridian for Nerva. On each trip, we must compete with other Runners and face hordes of monsters known as Nano. Runners can, however, take advantage of their presence...

Mechanics

Synced is a third-person shooter. The game is set on large maps, tasking players with gathering as much Nerva as possible. We must therefore defend special harvesters from our opponents, who have the same goal we do. The maps are also filled with Nano, hostile creatures who attack anyone they see.

Players can wield various firearms and gadgets. Defeated Nano can also be controlled. The monsters are of different classes and thus have unique abilities, both offensive and defensive.

Between each match, we return to Haven - a safe refuge where we can upgrade our gear and develop our skills.

Technical aspects

The visuals of Synced are rather appealing. The characters, enemies and environments are all very detailed.
