Sword of the New World: Granado Espada is another representative of the increasingly popular MMOG species. The creator of the title is Hakkyu Kim, the man responsible for the creation of Ragnarok Online. The game introduces an absolute novelty - Multiple Character Control System - allowing you to create, lead and level several of your characters at the same time.

This is happening in America, just colonized by newcomers from Europe. The player can control from one to three characters at any time, and each character has an individual character, likes, abilities and favorite equipment. All these elements must be taken into account when building an effective team. Game developers have prepared a wide range of character classes, which we can choose and develop, what is more, there is no limit on levels. Leading to the action your team can choose between two options: switch between the characters in turn to perform the intended actions, or constantly lead only one hero, the rest of the group leaving artificial intelligence.

A very interesting idea is the possibility of creating a so-called family. In Sword of the New World characters led by us heroes can be connected by blood ties and have one name. Performing quests and winning duels, we work for the prestige and fame of a particular family (in a similar way the great wealth of growers in America, or mafia families developed). In the face of a particularly difficult challenge (for example, the exploration of dangerous and extensive dungeons, or the need to overcome a very difficult boss), we can join forces with other families. A multitude of tasks, requiring very diverse and often specialized skills, requires us to join (usually rent) independent heroes (popular NPCs). Even the most versatile trained team will not be able to cope in every situation, especially since some abilities are available only to NPCs. Such side forms can be replaced as often as needed. There's nothing strange about this, but in Sword of the New World there's a unique option - players can also exchange the "main" characters created by the heroes.

In terms of graphic and musical solutions, we are dealing with elements specific to the Baroque era. The game world is fabulously colorful, great importance is attached to details. All elements (especially clothes and armour) are made with great attention to detail. The whole is complemented by majestic and atmospheric Baroque music.
