Having awakened, she discovers that the vessels is abandoned, while Kazumi, the on-board artificial intelligence, is damaged and trying to take complete control of the ship.

The setting is retrofuturistic – the creators have drawn inspirations from the 1980s’ vision of the future.

She informs her that since centuries the duty of the Shinozaki family is to guard the mysterious Book of Shadows which, should it fall in the wrong hands, might lead the world to doom.

We observe the action from a side-scrolling perspective and play as a hunter who was reborn as a deer. From now on, his most important goal is to survive in a hostile environment. He will also have to do some quests, like growing old, achieving a godlike karma balance, or finding every statuette of knowledge.

A seemingly easy job turns into a true nightmare during the very first night, when the protagonist discovers that the sympathetic animatronics come to life after dark and display a hostile attitude towards humans.
