SwapQuest on iOS, PC, etc., was developed by Rebusmind. The studio has created several interesting projects, including Hungry for Blocks and browser-based Magnet Maze. The title, which is a combination of logical games and RPG, was announced in 2013, but due to the desire to improve it, the creators postponed the premiere several times.

Plot

In SwapQuest, we play as one of the two available characters - Prince Wilbert or Princess Wilma. Our goal is to find the legendary Aventuril sword, thanks to which we will save the kingdom from the evil Horde.

Mechanics

The gameplay in SwapQuest combines logical and RPG elements. The action is observed from above, and our main task is to move the elements of the ground, thus creating a path followed by the heros. However, we can't think about it for too long, because the Horde is coming from the bottom of the screen. If you don't find the right element quickly, the creatures will catch up with you and you will have to repeat the level from the beginning. In addition, it is worth collecting crystals scattered on the route, thanks to which we can buy new equipment. Additionally, our combat skills depend on the chosen hero and character class - each of them has their own skills.

The gameplay mechanics are very easy to master, but different heroes, customizable equipment and creation of routes provide players with a lot of possibilities and encourage them to repeat the levels.

Technical aspects

SwapQuest offers pleasant 2D graphics maintained in an old-school style, referring to the 8-bit era.
