SUPERHOT JP
SUPERHOT JP is a first-person action game developed for PCs, which is a Japanese spin-off of a popular Polish brand. Traditionally, the whole thing revolves around unusual mechanics, in which time runs only when we are in motion.

SUPERHOT JP is a PC and PS4 spin-off release of SUPERHOT, a popular FPP shooter with logical elements, released in 2013. The Polish studio SUPERHOT team, known from the original, is not responsible for the project. Instead, the production was developed by GameTomo team located in Tokyo.
Plot
According to the title, the action of the game is set in Japan. The project offers a new story campaign that takes place in typical Japanese locations - karaoke bars, samurai castles, Tokyo alleys, and high-speed trains.
Mechanics
SUPERHOT JP, released on PC and PS4, is based on the same gameplay mechanisms as the original SUPERHOT - the time flows only when the player's character is in motion, but when they stop moving, everything freezes in place. This solution allows you to perform maneuvers that would be practically impossible in a normal FPS game, such as dancing between bullets, catching dropped weapons in mid-air, or hitting enemies exactly where you want them to attack.
Instead of offering changes in gameplay mechanics, SUPERHOT JP focuses on delivering new content. In addition to fresh maps and challenges, the authors have also prepared a set of previously unavailable weapon types, including bow and arrows.
Game modes
The game offers the same game modes as SUPERHOT. We can, therefore, play a single player campaign with several levels, or check out the three endless maps, where we have to face endless waves of enemies. There is also a Challenge mode, where we go through the campaign sections again, but in a modified form, e.g. forcing us to perform specific tasks or limiting the available weaponry.
Technical aspects
SUPERHOT JP offers the same graphics style as the original, focusing on attractive minimalism, full of white locations and red characters moving around them. Adding Japanese motifs, however, greatly diversifies the visual side of the game, providing a breath of fresh air.
