Super One More Jump Description
Super One More Jump, released on AND, iOS and Switch, is a 2D platformer in which we have to complete a huge number of hand-made levels. The game is characterized by simple controls - we operate it with one finger. SMG Studio (Death Squared) and Premo Games are responsible for this title.
Mechanics
The basics of Super One More Jump are extremely simple. The levels are presented from the so-called side-scroll perspective. We move on them by jumping. We do this to avoid obstacles - this requires a good sense of speed, patience and sometimes also the use of power-ups found on the maps. The creators prepared over a hundred different, hand-made levels. It is worth emphasizing that the game is characterized by a very high difficulty level. As the game progresses, we unlock new themes and avatars.
Game modes
We can play Super One More Jump alone or with other people. We can select a 2vs2 mode focusing on competition (the goal is to get a better score than the opponent), as well as cooperation mode for up to four people. Players can also try out the randomly generated Endless mode.
Technical aspects
Super One More Jump has an old-school, two-dimensional graphic design made in pixel-art style. The game's soundtrack was composed by Batterie (Jared Underwood's solo music project). The themes and character skins were done by such artists as Toby Dixon, Ilija Melentijevic, Cocefi, Sven 'ptoing' Ruthner, Mister Hk, Stephane Boutin, Helm, Anders Gullmarsvik, Ian Cid.
