An online co-op fantasy arcade game developed by React! Games. In Super Dungeon Bros, as a group of brave knights, we try to wade through subsequent levels, nearing the ultimate goal of taking revenge on the murderer of our mentor. The core of the gameplay is free cooperation mode in which we explore, solve simple logic puzzles, avoid deadly traps, and cut down hordes of enemies.

Super Dungeon Bros is a cooperative online game for PC, PS4 and XONE in which a team of no more than four players appears in a world full of traps and hostilities. As brave knights, who mostly have to depend on their intelligence and agility, they try to reach the end of every level, nearing the ultimate goal. The title was developed by React! Games.

Plot

Starting out, we assume the role of one of four medieval warriors that belong to the brotherhood of the so-called Dragon University. Hoping to avenge the death of our mentor, we embark on a dangerous pursuit after the murderer but we will also get some coin in the meantime to pay tuition fees. The story of the adventurers isn’t very important — the game puts emphasis primarily on good fun.

Mechanics

The core of the gameplay is a free cooperation mode in which our primary tasks include solving logic puzzles, avoiding deathtraps, and cutting down hordes of hostiles. A large number of challenges require us to, for example, erect a four-person tower, while defeating waves of incoming skeletons is often impossible without performing joint attacks. The land of Rökheim, in which the action takes place, constantly changes and therefore we never know what lies in the next randomly selected map.

Game modes

The game also features a single player campaign that lets us get acquainted with the basics of the gameplay mechanics. Part of the items that we acquire while playing solo can then be used in the co-op mode. The title also offers the possibility of several people playing simultaneously on the same machine.

Technical aspects

Super Dungeon Bros, as one of few titles, lets users of various platforms play together—PC players can freely cooperate with people who use other devices.

The game features simple but colorful three-dimensional isometric graphics. The title’s atmosphere is further enhanced by its rock soundtrack.
