Official continuation of the game released in 2000 and also the next installment of the very popular series. It is a game that combines elements of logical play and very dynamic arcade. Products from the Bust-A-Move series resemble the classic Tetris in many respects. However, for obvious reasons, a number of very important changes have been applied. Unlike Tetris, where the blocks fell towards the bottom of the screen, this time the action field was reversed. This is because we handle a specifically made launcher, which shoots colorful balls towards the top of the screen. Our task is to collect at least three balls of the same color next to each other so that they can explode. At the same time, we have to take into account the passage of time, not being able to afford to make too many mistakes. Taito is again responsible for the release of the game. Super Bust-A-Move 2 was released only on Sony console.
Actually, the only major improvement on the first part of this game is the addition of Story Mode mode, which is a not very sophisticated storyline. This does not affect the course of the game in any way. Therefore, we are still engaged in the activities described above. The only differences concern the addition of funny intermittent films, appearing between stages. The appearance of the videos depends on the choice of the character standing at the launcher. This could be, for example, a funny looking soother. In addition, some stories overlap, encouraging the player to complete the game again. Super Bust-A-Move 2 also includes all the modes that appeared in the first part. So you can play both alone and with your opponent. Depending on the choice made, it is controlled by artificial intelligence or by the second player. The game takes place on a common screen. Visually the game presents a very similar level to its predecessor. So you can't count on too much, although the explosions that accompany the disappearing coloured balls can be pleasing.
