Super Black Bass 3D is an advanced and powerful angling simulator. The game was created by Starfish SD, a Japanese studio specializing in productions for mobile platforms such as Nintendo DS and PSP. In his offer we can find productions for children and casual players. Super Black Bass is the first title in the developer's oeuvre to hit the Nintendo 3DS console.
The simulator should satisfy the lovers of virtual fishing, because they will probably find everything they could expect from this type of game. Starting the game we can choose between two game modes. The first are championships. In certain time and conditions, we have to demonstrate our fishing skills, which will be judged by virtual judges. In the second mode we choose a fishery and start fishing without any obstacles, freely practicing and exploring the water. After throwing the float into the water we have a chance to catch 30 species of fish. How we catch them depends on the place, time, weather and temperature. We can sell the fish in our basket and buy new equipment, such as new lures or hooks, with the funds obtained.
It is worth mentioning that the game uses console gyroscope in an interesting way. Quickly lifting and lowering the 3DS, we cast with a virtual rod, retrieve the line or take out the caught fish. The title supports network scoreboards. Thanks to this option we can easily compare our achievements with players from all over the world.
The graphic design of the title does not dazzle and despite the fact that the authors used three-dimensional models, they differ from what the best 3DS games accustomed us to.
