Game mechanics

Sunday Gold combines several game genres, creating a highly unusual cocktail. The gameplay takes place in a turn-based system. The player uses it to play tactical battles, but in this mode there is also a typical adventure exploration and puzzle solving. We also have to conduct conversations and collect items.

The puzzles in Sunday Gold are very diverse. They require careful search of rooms, clever use of environmental elements and dealing with numerous mini-games. Many of the puzzle challenges are designed in the style of escape room games, meaning that our main task is to figure out how to get out of a room.

Each member of the criminal team has unique talents, useful both in combat and in solving puzzles. We can, like in RPGs, develop these abilities within the skill tree.

The game is varied by a morale system. Disturbing and dangerous situations can cause a character to lose his temper, which can end fatally for the whole team. Therefore, it is crucial to manage the character's stress and make proper use of calming disposable items and leadership skills.

Game modes

The game only allows you to play solo.

Technical aspects

Sunday Gold features attractive three-dimensional graphics done in a heavily exaggerated cartoon style. Attention is drawn to two-dimensional movie interludes that look like animated frames of a comic book.
