Sun Crusher: The Great War Description
Sun Crusher: The Great War for the first production of the Malaysian group of developers associated under the name Bad Nose Entertainment, which has been heard about in the wider world. This title is a combination of two types of gameplay: definitely arcade fighter star flight simulator and poor real-time strategy options. The one-man campaign of the game was divided into a number of missions, thanks to which we get to know the backstage of armed conflict in which we participate. There are two sides to it - the Corporation and the insurgents who oppose its existence. In the single-person campaign mode we start fighting on the side of the first one, and with each completed mission we learn about behind-the-scenes games in the ranks of the Corporation, as well as about other dark secrets of the Corporation. Individual tasks differ in terms of both scale and character. In some of them we have to lead a fleet of line ships to victory in a big battle, in others we have to penetrate a small spy unit behind enemy lines, save survivors, etc. In some of them we have to lead a fleet of line ships to victory in a big battle, while in others we have to penetrate a small spy unit behind enemy lines, save survivors, etc.
In both game modes mentioned at the beginning, a three-dimensional graphic engine was used to visualize our actions. Unfortunately, it cannot be said that it is extremely technologically advanced. At most decent. In star simulator mode we control a small ship (view from behind the ship) in space. Depending on whether it is a fighter or e.g. a bomber, we have other on-board weaponry (weapons destroying energy shields, ship's armour, etc.). In turn the tactical part resembles very much the legendary Homeworld, although reduced from the majority of options. On the screen you can see a three-dimensional space with a grid to facilitate orientation and enemy and allied ships, and the range of available commands is practically limited to a few basic types: attack a target, fly to a point/ship, or ship's weapons/area.
Sun Crusher: The Great War, in addition to single-player gameplay, also offers a multiplayer game with other people.
