The third part of one of the most famous Japanese role-playing games. At the same time we are dealing with the first title from the Suikoden series, which was decided to release on PS2. Previous parts of Suikoden were released for the first generation of PlayStation. At the same time, it is worth noting that the described game has been officially continued and the Tactics edition, focusing mainly on fighting, rather than exploring the world or the development of controlled characters. The production and release of Suikodena III is, of course, the responsibility of the Konami Group. Game was released only on Sony console.

This third part takes place 15 years after the events presented in Suikodena II and begins with the signing of a peace agreement between the six Grasslands clans and the Zexen Federation. Unlike the previous versions of the series, in which we usually dealt with one main character, this time it is as many as three heroes. We get to know the stories of Hugo (son of the leader of the Karaya clan), Chris (newly appointed leader of the Mighty Knights of Zexen) and Geddoe (captain of one of the Harmony Empire troops). The game uses a relatively unusual system called 'trinity sight', thanks to which the same events can be observed from the perspectives of the characters mentioned above. This, of course, contributes to explaining some of the key elements of the plot. Suikoden III, as befits a Japanese RPG, is relatively long. It takes at least 25-30 hours to reach the end. However, it should be added that the game is relatively linear in some places.

As was the case with other games in the series, one of the most interesting elements is the possibility of recruiting new team members. In total, we will be able to find more than 100 NPCs willing to play, although the team can consist of a maximum of six people. Interestingly, warriors are joined in pairs and this is how they are instructed. It is also worth mentioning that some pairs unblock new types of attacks or deadly combos. This should encourage the player to try newer and newer combinations. In addition to the standard battles, it takes part in the struggle of the whole army. Then he finds out with battalions. As the game develops, the team members advance and gain new skills. It is also necessary to take care of appropriate equipment. Visually the game looks very good. The environment is three-dimensional and we are very often limited by invisible walls. Noteworthy are nicely animated and quite numerous intermittent scenes, thanks to which you can learn more or less important details of the plot. Suikoden III does not contain any multiplayer modes.
